Black Hat Brew Works opened its doors in 2015, on "Black Hat Friday", in the middle of the Scotland Boulevard industrial park in Bridgewater. Paul Mulcahy and his brother Scott first started homebrewing out of a shed in Norton. Time passed, experience was gained, better equipment was purchased, and the rest is history.

An Eagle Scout, Paul came from a community of civic-minded people. “Helping out youth soccer, raising money for the food pantry, and supporting our local first responders are what is important to me, and what truly matters,” he shares.
