Black Hat Brew Works tries to be very active in accommodating donation requests. We regularly donate the use of our establishment, as well as gift baskets to support many local organizations. As a small and growing business, we unfortunately do not have the ability to accommodate every request we receive

Here are some the general guidelines we apply to our decision making process:

We Like to “Keep it Local” by giving priority to requests supporting our local community

In order to consider a request, we require that it be done in person here at the taproom. We will not accept donation requests by email or phone

We like to support the people that support us back, meaning we’re much more inclined to support requests from people whose first interaction with our brewery wasn’t to ask for a donation but from those who have supported and continue to support our small business. We believe the best situation is “win, win” when all parties benefit.

If we are unable to discuss a donation request at the time of your visit, we will happily work with you to schedule a better time to do so.

Our ability to donate comes in two forms, a donation basket that can be used a raffle or silent auction item or by booking a “donate back night” where we host your organization at the brewery and donate a portion of our days sales back. We do not accommodate requests for sponsorships of any kind or ad space in program books.
